“Made by the Sea” is Talisker’s international campaign and it communicates Talisker’s unique connection to the coast and the ocean. We adapted the campaign in Germany and positioned the oldest single malt Scotch whisky as an ideal companion to seafood. The kickoff was the exclusive cooperation with the German Roamers, followed by individual influencer activations. The heart of the campaign – the Talisker Wilderness Guide – was created from this precisely tailored content.
German Roamers Cooperation
We travelled to some of the most breathtaking coastal spots on the German seacoast together with four members of German Roamers, the experts for special outdoor photography. Our four guests shared the resulting photos, as well as exclusive information on what is special about each location, on their own channels and on the German Roamers’ Instagram channel.
Talisker & seafood are a marriage made in heaven – or should we say – on shore and at sea? That’s exactly what selected influencers were invited to taste in the Seafood Workshop, followed by an exclusive dinner prepared by star chef Arne Anker. Herz&Blut generated unmistakable visual material, while selected influencers ensured that everyone was talking about Talisker at the Berlin Seafood Festival.
The Result: The Talisker Wilderness Guide
All contents came together in the Talisker Wilderness Guide, thus creating a comprehensive and unique guide to the most impressive locations along the German seacoast, supplemented by phenomenal impressions and a Talisker Drinking Guide.
We subsequently extended the campaign into the sales area: selected sales managers and special Diageo customers experienced Talisker & the sea during a two-day customer incentive in Heiligenhafen with deep-sea fish, DIY smoked fish and, of course, always the right drinks.
